Mostly covering photographers and their work
Her About page says
Valérie Jardin is a French photographer who has developed a unique style that is both evocative and authentic. Her work is characterized by a strong sense of narrative, capturing candid moments that reveal the human experience in all its complexity and beauty. With a discerning eye for composition and a keen understanding of light and shadow, Valérie Jardin creates emotionally charged photographs of everyday moments.
She shoots in Black and White and she takes nice photos. Here is the Hands page on her portfolio.
Oleksandr Herasymenko describes himself as a DIRECTOR and his home page is videos or shorts that if I were to say anything - generate an emotional response with a narrative you can understand.
The link to his Vimeo spells out the clips on his site.
His photos are pretty gritty. Website at David Collyer
From his website
David Collyer FRPS is a South Wales based photographer. He discovered a passion for
telling a story through images as a teenager, spending time with the press photographers
and journalists on a local paper in Surrey edited by his father.
As a documentary photographer who works predominantly on long term projects, he
returned to shooting film a few years ago, preferring a sixty-year-old Leica and the
anticipation of what he's captured, to modern digital cameras.
His work has been published internationally, and has appeared in magazines and
newspapers, as well as the book All in a Day's Work, documenting hospital staff during the
Covid-19 pandemic. The book is in the collection of the British Library and The National
Museum of Wales.
His photo of a shattered theatre practitioner appeared on the front page of The Guardian and
was one of Amateur Photographer magazine's photos of the year in 2020. He is currently
working on a further two books, and is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, as well
as being named Documentary Photographer of the Year 2021. David is a member of the F/8
Documentary group of photographers.
He has a natural eye for finding the lead in to a photo. In the About page on his website he says
He prefers the less popular view and concentrates his efforts in the earlier part of the day. In the main he stays close to his home in Penrith situated midway between Ullswater and the Eden Valley. He sees little point in constantly travelling in search of exotic locations, when quite often a beautiful image can be just around the corner from your front door.
His website is Mark Littlejohn Photography
